FACETS 2012 - Food Agriculture Climate Energy Topsoil Sustainability

Skillset and Net Balance invite you to join us for FACETS 2012: Conversations Worth Having, being held on Friday 24 August in Horsham, Bathurst, Toowoomba the Barossa Valley and webcast across the country through our partnership with ABC Rural.

The Conversations Worth Having at FACETS 2012 focus on key issues for regional Australia: Food, Agriculture, Climate, Energy, Topsoil and Sustainability. The events provide a forum to share ideas that empower people, build useful connections and bring about positive change in our communities.

FACETS is a TEDx-styled event, consisting of presentations of no more than 18 minutes each, delivered by passionate and informed people. Each event will feature 16 speakers ‘giving the presentation of their lives’.

The FACETS 2012 hub event will be held at Skillset’s Flannery Centre in Bathurst, an exemplar of sustainable building design where Skillset delivers apprenticeships, training, workforce development and sustainability skills.
Simultaneously, satellite events in Horsham, Toowoomba and the Barossa Valley will feature live crosses to some of the 16 speakers at the Bathurst event alongside outstanding local speakers. This will ensure that FACETS can initiate national and local conversations worth having.
