Printer-friendly version
Date:
3 Apr 2012 - 6:30pm

The Nature Conservation Council (NCC) invites you to a Clean Energy Public Forum.

A vast majority of Australians support a move to 100% clean energy. But a lot also wonder whether we can make it happen yet. The NCC are showcasing real stories from the clean energy frontline that prove we’re 100% ready to start making the switch!

You’ll hear from a range of speakers and community leaders, all of whom are seeing big benefits for themselves, their communities and Australia from the work that’s going on around the country.

This forum will be held from 6.30 to 8.30 pm on Tuesday 3rd April 2012. The venue is the Harry Hesse Room, RB Smith Community Centre, 262 Crawford Street Queanbeyan (opposite the Council Chambers). Entry is free.

Speakers include:

  • Andy Hughes - Office of Environment and Heritage

  • Jeff Knowles - Solar PV / Sustainable House

  • Pat Osbourne - Windfarm

  • Katrina Willis - Queanbeyan City Sustainability Initiative

  • Deborah Kingsland - 100% renewable campaign
