Albury City Council will be hosting the 2017 NSW Local Government Aboriginal Network Conference. The Conference theme is “Yindyamarra” which means ‘respect, be gentle, polite, honour, do slowly’.
This is a great opportunity for anyone working in or with local government from the southern part of NSW to find out about Aboriginal issues, and best practise in a local government context. The conference provides an opportunity to explore a diverse range of discussion points, issues and services relevant to Aboriginal people and the broader communities in which they live, work and play and would have relevance to the Landcare Community and their efforts to engage with the Aboriginal community. The program will be jam-packed with content, information and of course, lots of yarns and a few laughs.
