Please join us at the Doodle Comer Swamp open day! Discover the newly installed visitor facilities, bird hides and interpretive signs, hear about the significance of the swamp, and learn about wetlands in the local area, their importance for biodiversity and carbon storage.
BBQ lunch and refreshments provided.
The official opening and tree planting will be at 11 am, followed by lunch at 12.30 pm.

Access the Doodle Comer Swamp Nature Reserve via Listers Lane from Diffeys Road (6 km SW Henty). See the attched flyer for a map and more details.
This event is being held to celebrate the on-ground activities that have been recently completed here as part of the Murray Wetland Carbon Storage Project (delivered by Murray LLS and the Murray Darling Wetlands Working Group Ltd), funded by the Australian Government.
