Free weed app for Smart Phones
GRDC (Grains Research & Development Coropration) has just released a free app for 'smart' mobile phones, which is designed to be used by growers in the paddock, to assist in identifying the most common weeds in southern Australia.
The app covers annual, biennial and perennial weeds. Where possible, photographs have been provided of the weed at various growth stages to make identification easier. Each weed also has a calendar, showing when it is most likely to be present.
For more information, check out the GRDC website.
