Biodiversity in the Wagga LGA - Request for information from landholders

Printer-friendly version

ATTENTION ALL LANDHOLDERS IN THE WAGGA WAGGA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA

Wagga Wagga City Council have obtained funding to produce maps and brochures highlighting biodiversity habitat corridors across the LGA. These maps will assist land managers in planning future revegetation works for increased habitat connectivity across the landscape, as well as recognising revegetation and conservation works already undertaken.

Wagga Council require YOUR assistance in making these maps and brochures as informative as possible and have requested that any interested landholders within the LGA who have conducted revegetation or conservation works on their properties contact Regional Landcare Facilitator Nicole Maher with the Lot and DP numbers of the central part of each property where works have been conducted.

Participation in this project is completely voluntary and no details of property names, project specifics or landholder's names will be included.

For more information, please download and read the attached letter from Nicole.

If you are interested in being part of this opportunity, please contact Nicole Maher on nmaher@murrumbidgeelandcare.asn.au or 0487 953 776 with your Lot and DP numbers by January 23rd 2012.
