Your Land,Your Soil & Your Future

The Yass Area Network of Landcare Groups (YAN) will host a public workshop in Yass on Wednesday 21 October 2009 on soil health, soil carbon and the role that effective soil management can play in sustainable production and managing global warming.

The purpose of the workshop is to provide a forum for a number of influential people, who are practising new and effective techniques, to explain their approach and the results they are achieving. YAN is aiming at a very practical workshop that will give farmers and other land managers some cost effective and readily applicable techniques to improve soil health.
