Welcome to the August edition of Murrumbidgee Landcare's e-news!
The Henty Machinery Field Days (Tues 18 to Thurs 20 September) attract over 60,000 people from across the Riverina and Murray areas. It is a great opportunity to spread the word about what we are doing in Landcare, and to promote sustainable agriculture and natural resource management. So... we would love your group (either Landcare, community or agricultural) to assist us in the Landcare Shed this year!
There are two opportunities available: You can provide some information / resources to display in the shed, and/or you can volunteer to help in the shed during the event. Your involvement can be as big or as small as you are able to manage; we'd really like to include all of our Landcare network in the event, so please contact Julie Bellato if you think you might be able to be involved.
We're also really excited to bring you our Healthy Farmer Roadshow, with a series of interactive workshops aimed at helping farmers to look after themselves. Come along for a fun evening learning about nutrition, being active and managing stress.
Remember, if you’d like some assistance or advice on anything to do with Landcare, you can always contact your Local Landcare Coordinator or the Murrumbidgee Landcare office. We’re here to help all Landcarer’s in our region!
