Murrumbidgee Landcare e-news - February 2018
Welcome to the February edition of Murrumbidgee Landcare's e-news, our first for 2018.
We have an action-packed few months ahead, with lots of exciting opportunities coming up. The first ever Hay Ag & Pastoral Innovation Expo is being held on 9 and 10 March, and will showcase a great selection of innovative equipment and technology for production in extensive agricultural zones.
There are lots of grants open at the moment, including the popular Environmental Trust Restoration and Rehabilitation Grants, the 2018 NSW Farmers Tertiary Scholarship applications and the new Wine Australia Export and Regional Wine Support Package.
There are also a range of events specifically targeting rural women, including a Women in Rice workshop at Jerilderie on 22 Feb, a Women in Grazing workshop at Gunning on 2 Mar, and Grants to attend a “Women and Leadership” Symposium.
If you would like more information on anything, or would like to talk to someone about Landcare in your region, please feel free to contact your Local Landcare Coordinator or the Murrumbidgee Landcare office.
