Molonglo Catchment Funding Opportunity

The Molonglo Catchment Group has teamed up with Greening Australia Capital Region to implement the Molonglo Catchment Strategy with funding through the Australian Government's National Landcare Program.

The aims of the project are to rehabilitate 10km of riparian area which includes rivers, creeks, gullies and other drainage lines.

Funding is available for fencing, stock water, tubestock and direct seeding. Funding is also available for perennial pasture establishment.

High Priority areas include the Molonglo River, Reedy and Woolshed Creeks within the ACT, and the Upper Molonglo Catchment and Burra Creek Catchment.

Medium Priority areas include Jerrabomberra Creek Catchment and the Upper Queanbeyan Catchment.

The project is open to both individuals and groups. Landowner contribution is negotiable.
