Riverina Regional Strategic Weeds Management Plan
The Riverina Regional Strategic Weeds Management Plan 2017-22 has been released by the Riverina LLS.
The five year plan is designed to enable a coordinated approach to weed management across the Riverina region.
Weeds have been prioritised, with a Regional Priority Weed List developed. A list of other weeds of concern in the region has also been developed, in consultation with the community. These include species for which a coordinated approach to management is expected to provide the best outcome for the region. Some of the weeds on this list include:
- Bathurst Burr
- Blackberry
- Horehound
- Scotch Thistle
- Silverleaf Nightshade
- St John's Wort
- Tree of Heaven
The Plan can be downloaded here.
