Position Vacant - Regional Landcare Coordinator (0.4FTE)

Part-time (0.4 FTE) to June 2018 with prospects for renewal, salary $77-80k pa pro rata plus on costs.  This is a job-share position.

As a Regional Landcare Facilitator you will be working with Landcare and Local Land Services staff servicing community and landholder groups in the Riverina Region, comprising the Mid and Lower Murrumbidgee catchments and the Lower Lachlan, to promote and support the production, economic and social benefits of a farm and landscape focus on natural resource management (NRM), in conjunction with sustainable agricultural practices, the delivery of improved ecosystem services, and targeted flora/fauna conservation.

Your contribution will concentrate on communications via print, radio and web delivery; and project development through partnerships. Skills in self-direction, teamwork and media are sought. A central Riverina location is preferred, and some travel is involved. Flexible hours (15h per week) are offered with a priority towards Tuesdays to meet media timelines.
