How to prepare and protect your family and home in the event of a bushfire.
The Women on Fire workshops are tailored to meet the needs of rural women to prepare their families and homes in the event of a bushfire. For further information please see the attached flier.
Aims of the workshop
- Empower women to make timely decisions in a crisis situation.
- Encourage women to maintain their homes and house yards in an ongoing state of bushfire preparedness.
- Discuss strategies for bushfire preparedness implementation.
- For each participant to produce their own Bush Fire Survival Plan.
- Learn from each other’s experiences and meet other rural women in your area
