Women on FireHow to prepare and protect your family and home in the event of a bushfire.

The Women on Fire workshops are tailored to meet the needs of rural women to prepare their families and homes in the event of a bushfire.  For further information please see the attached flier.

Aims of the workshop

  1. Empower women to make timely decisions in a crisis situation.
  2. Encourage women to maintain their homes and house yards in an ongoing state of bushfire preparedness.
  3. Discuss strategies for bushfire preparedness implementation.
  4. For each participant to produce their own Bush Fire Survival Plan.
  5. Learn from each other’s experiences and meet other rural women in your area
