Free music camps & workshops for young people living in drought affected areas of NSW
The Musicians Making A Difference (MMAD) team invites young people who live in drought affected areas of NSW to apply to become involved in free 351 Urban Music Camps and Workshops during the Mustering Hope Tour through NSW between October 22nd and November 2nd 2007.
When & Where?
Musicians Making A Difference (MMAD) Mustering Hope Tour, NSW
- 22nd - 24th October: Longbeach 351 Camp, Batemans Bay including morning surf lessons and performing opportunity
- 26th & 27th October: 351 Workshops for the PCYC, Wagga Wagga concentrating on building a youth event management team for the PCYC & community
- 31st October - 2nd November: Ridgecrest 351 Camp, Lake Burrendong (near Wellington) a great break away from home and opportunity to learn from the best
Who can apply?
Any young person (preferably between the ages of 14 & 17) who has an interest in learning or furthering musical skills. Applicants must reside in any area affected by the drought and must show enthusiasm towards this privilege program.
Please note: These 351 events will be predominantly, though not limited to, an urban/hip hop genre. Most workshops will benefit and challenge artists with interest in different genres.
