International River Foundation 'Freshwater Focus' Photo Competition
International RiverFoundation is now running a major photo contest in support of World Rivers Day 2013.
This year, the contest has been opened up to an international audience, with $AUD1,000 to be awarded to the overall winner. Other prizes include two nights at the Jacobs Creek Visitor's Centre in the Barossa Valley, to be awarded to one lucky Australian winner, and a mystery prize pack for the photo with the highest number of public votes.
All Australian entrants will also receive a $20 Simone Perele voucher.
To enter, all you need to do is submit a photo of a river, lake, wetland or estuary to the Freshwater Focus web page. There is a small entry fee of $10 per photo - this donation will help the IRF continue their work in promoting the sustainable restoration and management of river basins around the world.
