2.8.3. Forests

The following state forests occur within the Upper Murrumbidgee region:
NSW (Incomplete):
• Buccleuch State Forest
• Micalong State Forest
• Bondo State Forest
• Wee Jasper State Forest
• Tallaganda State Forest (partial)
• Badja State Forest (partial)
• Glen Fergus State Forest
ACT (Incomplete):
• Kowen Pine Forest
• Uriarra State Forest
• Pierces Creek State Forest
• Gibraltar Creek State Forest
• Stromlo Forest Park
Note that the ACT forests are chiefly given over to plantation pine. Some areas of native vegetation remain.
