War on Worms - Yass

This workshop is about parasitic worms, livestock and evidence based worm management.

You will find out about:

• What worms are commonly found in this region
• The lifecycle of worms
• Egg counts
• How simple farm management techniques can be used to manage worm burdens in your stock
• Deciding when and what treatment is needed
• Reading product labels
• Managing lice.

There will be a practical session where you can handle sheep and look at samples under a microscope.
